He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Hamilton "Hamp" Brewer, Sr. and Gussie Henderson Brewer; his wife Hixey Lynn Jones Brewer; his sister Margaret Brewer Gayler; his son-in-law Randall Smith; his brother-in-law H. I. Jones; and his great grandchild Ryan Meadows.
He is survived by: his children, Jack Brewer (Stephanie), Rebecca Thomas (Wesley), Kathy Johnson (Larry) and Jeanne Smith; his sister Tennie Jo Ferry (Ralph); and his siblings-in-law, Branson Gayler and Frances Jones. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
Due to the current health concerns for the community, those in attendance are asked to keep in mind the current guidelines and restrictions set forth by the C. D. C. as it pertains to social gatherings including the use of face masks and hand sanitizer.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations be made to any Church or Christian-based charity of your choice.
