We bid farewell to Susan Middleton (Summerville, Georgia), born in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 5, 2024 at the age of 68. Susan touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though Susan may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Susan touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, C. B. Kirk and Carmon Margaree Blaylock Kirk; and her sisters, Eula Mae Hawkins and Sandra Kirk. She is survived by: her husband Carl Middleton; her children, Heath Mann (Daniela) and Ashley Coker (Michael); and her brother Randall Coy Kirk (Shelia Zoe). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mason Funeral Home (320 GA-48, Summerville, GA 30747). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at the New Home Baptist Church Cemetery (5306 AL-40, Valley Head, AL 35989).
