He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Decatur Pettyjohn and Olivia Whitley Pettyjohn; his sister Janet; his brother-in-law Van Jacobs; his brother Bobby; and his siblings-in-law, Carolyn Pettyjohn and Ray Lee.
He is survived by: his sisters, Latricia Lee and Beverly; and his brother-in-law Michael Price. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
