He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Payton and Mittie Lee Allen Payton; his daughter Jamie Hennon; and his brothers, Mark Payton, Malcolm Payton and Wayne Payton.
He is survived by: his daughter Jennifer Burrage (Jackie); and his siblings, Andy Payton (Nae Nae), Marvin Payton, Tim Payton, Sheila Payton Hayslip, Janice Payton Sink (Jimmy), Kathy Payton Marbutt (Alan) and Sharron Payton Gabriel. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mason Funeral Home (320 GA-48, Summerville, GA 30747). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
