She was predeceased by: her parent John Q. Adams. She is survived by: her parent Gurtrude Mosteller Adams; her sons, Roosevelt J. Adams, Jimmy R. Adams, John Adams, Jr., James D. Adams, Johnny W. Stamper, Harold R. Stamper, Ralph L. Stamper, Carlos Stamper (Lavon) and Antonio Stamper; her siblings, Fred Adams (Marv) and Willie Mae Jordan; and her close friend Lewis Gadson. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews.
