She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin A. Covington, Sr. and Georgia Starr Covington; her husband Charles Wooten, Sr.; her brothers, Wilburn Starr, Bobby Lee Starr and Benjamin A. Covington, Jr.; her son Larry Covington; her stepson Bobby London; her grandsons, Carmen Wooten and Blandon Marco Wooten; and her son-in-law Jerry Daniel.
She is survived by: her children, Joyce Daniel, JoAnn Wooten, Charlene McMichael (Billy), Carrie F. Wooten, Shirley Price (Kerry), Charles L. Wooten, Jr. (Mary), Johnny Wooten (Merita), Randy Wooten, Eddy Wooten and Leon Wooten; and her siblings-in-law, Mary Faye Fields, Betty Covington, William Harold Wooten and Ronnie Wooten (Charlene). She is also survived by twenty-three grandchildren; forty–four great grandchildren; a host of great great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
