Roy Robertson Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Robertson of Summerville, Georgia, born in Decatur, Georgia, who passed away on June 5, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Robertson and Avie Talton Robertson; his wives, Betty Jean Robertson and Dorothy Jean Robertson; his son Roy Allen Robertson; his grandchildren, Beverly Star Cook, Robert Allen Robertson and Brian Vogel; and his siblings, Richard Robertson, Helene Robertson, Mary Jackson and Joan Benedict.
He is survived by: his children, Clay Robertson, Russell Robertson, Michael Robertson, Greg Tschudy (Connie), Edward Gazaway (Barbara), Beverly Houston (Tim), Cheryl Vogel (Glenn) and Annette Lazenby (Rick); his sister Patricia Mullin; and his close friends, Pat Kayler, Cherry Dozier-Oliver and Danny Williams. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great- grandchild.
The Robertson family, along with the staff of Mason Funeral Home, reminds anyone in attendance to keep in mind the current guidelines and restrictions set forth by the C. D. C. as it pertains to social gatherings including social distancing, gathering limits, and face masks.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Solid Rock Baptist Church, in Trion, GA.
