He was predeceased by: his parents, James Homer "Jimmy" West and Barbara Eleanor Smith West; his siblings, Jennifer Gaye West and Steve West; and his brother-in-law Terry Chandler.
He is survived by: his wife Teresa Ann West; his son Rob West (Brittany); his grandchildren, Tyler West, Zoie West, Kadance Wilson and Zalie Kostreba; his great grandchild Mavis West; his siblings, Jayne Chandler, Terri Winn (Robert), Karen Bates (Michael), Chuck West, Beth Curles (Tommy) and Scott West (Lisa); and his sister-in-law Diana Mize. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the South Chapel (3002 Maple Rd SE, Rome, GA 30161). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
