With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Leon Parris of Summerville, Georgia, born in Springfield, Louisiana, who passed away on November 2, 2021 at the age of 77. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Clyde Parris and Opal Naves Parris; his wife Patsy Parris; his brothers, Donnie Parris and Duck Parris; his granddaughter Brittany Smith; his great grandchild Parker Joseph; and his mother-in-law Ola Bowling.
He is survived by: his children, Teresa White, Tim (Cara Parris), Keith Parris, Rob (Jane Parris), Jeff (Linda Wofford), Kelly Wofford (Jason) and Lesley Mitchell; his brother Cecil; his sister-in-law Polly Parris; his sisters, Ann, Renard Lanier and Frances Busby; and his close friend Brenda Jenkins. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
