He was predeceased by: his parents, William Joe and Ethel Henderson McDonald; his former wives, Grace McDonald and Barbara McDonald; his children, David McDonald and Martha McDonald Williams; his brothers, Dean McDonald, Grady McDonald and Carl McDonald; and his son-in-law John Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Iva Maynard McDonald; his children, Joe McDonald (Beth), Carl Maynard (Renae) and Becky Johnson (Gary Rape); and his sister Joyce Walker. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held privately. The McDonald family along with the staff of Mason Funeral Home remind anyone in attendance to keep in mind the current guidelines and restrictions set forth by the C. D. C. as it pertains to social gatherings including social distancing, gathering limits, and face masks.
