She was predeceased by: her parents, Holmes Malcolm "Shorty" Carroll and Elizabeth Anne Spann Carroll; her husband Johnny Helms; her great grandchild Brody Blackmon; her siblings, Beatrice Agee, Ruby Sanders, Tommy Carroll and Mark Carroll; and her son-in-law James Snow.
She is survived by: her children, Teresa Snow, Ronnie (Sandy Helms), David (Kate Helms) and Jeff (Tracy Helms); and her grandchildren, Jaime, Jeremy Blackmon, Saisha Gray (Aaron Pittman), Blaklee, Zack Crabtree, Mandy Durham (Brian Flippo), Chais, Meg Helms and James David "JD" Helms (Abigail Knight). She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Coffman Funeral Home (12855 US-27, Summerville, GA 30747). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of the Coffman Funeral Home (12855 US-27, Summerville, GA 30747).
