It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Nell Hurley Blalock of Summerville, Georgia, born in Sand Rock, Alabama, who passed away on November 27, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harey Durham and Cora Howard Durham; her former husband James W. "Bo" Hurley; her husband Hugh Lee Blalock; and her siblings, Mark Durham, T. Y. Durham, H. B. Durham, Roxie Battles, Ruby Barnette, Ruth Brewster and Chloe Cagle.
She is survived by: her sons, Terry Hurley (Donna) and Greg Hurley (Kim); her grandchildren, Miranda Reed (Jacob), Haven Temple (Chris), Chad Teems (Brittany) and Garrett Hurley (Sarah); and her great grandchildren, Jeremiah Reed, Gracie Temple, Caiden Teems, Mason Teems, Easton Teems and Rett Hurley.
Visitation will be held privately. The Blalock family along with the staff of Mason Funeral Home remind anyone in attendance to keep in mind the current guidelines and restrictions set forth by the C. D. C. as it pertains to social gatherings including social distancing, gathering limits, and face masks.
