With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lois Anderson (Summerville, Georgia), born in Roanoke, Alabama, who passed away on September 13, 2019 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Milton Hammond and Etta Hammond; her husband Carl Smith Anderson; her daughter Linda Gail Nelson; her daughter-in-law Shirley Nelson; and her great great grandchild Conner Liam McGill.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Nelson and Terra Turner Sweatman (Marty); her grandchildren, Sissie Dowdy (Tony), Bubba Browning (Lisa), Todd Browning, Shon Burke, Adam Nelson (Erica), Jon Turner and Candace Henderson (Jamie); her siblings, Earl Hammond (Roberta) and Hazel Garnet; and her sisters-in-law, Brenda Anderson and Sandra Copeland. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren.
