He was predeceased by: his wife Edna Burke; and his siblings, Melvin, Ed, John Burke, Phyllis Lambert and Shelby Gentry.
He is survived by: his children, Katie Wood and Chris Burke; his sister Mary Norris; and his grandchildren, Wesley Blalock (Lou Ann), Cory Reynolds, Ashley Burke and Deanna Brown. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
