She was predeceased by: her parents, James Adams and Ella Mae Finley Bennett; and her sister Charlotte Wilson. She is survived by: her children, Salvadore Powell (Cassandra) and Carmela Powell; her brother Ronald Bennett (Marcia); her grandchildren, Joshua Powell (Maria) and India Sowell (Norman); and her great grandchildren, Gabriella Sowell, Ezzaria Powell and Jaylen Powell.
Visitation will be held privately for the family. The Powell family, along with the staff of Mason Funeral Home remind anyone in attendance to keep in mind the current guidelines and restrictions set forth by the C. D. C. as it pertains to social gatherings limitations including social distancing, gathering limits, and face masks.
