He was predeceased by: his parents, Sewell Ellis Dendy and Ella Geneva Cohen Dendy; his son Tim Dendy; and his brother Wayne Dendy (Joel Dendy). He is survived by: his wife Frances Marie Crow Dendy; his daughter Shaun; his son-in-law LeBranne Willingham; his sisters, Nita Poe, Corrine and Jerry Wallin; his grandchildren, Dakoda Willingham (LeAnn), Rylee Willingham, Chris Mosley and Kirk Farrar; and his great grandchildren, Cannon Brown, Clayton Brown, Cohen Brown, Anna Dendy, Hudson Willingham and Layla Willingham. He is also survived by niece, nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Coffman Funeral Home (12855 US-27, Summerville, GA 30747). A graveside service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the West Hill Cemetery (457 Pine St, Trion, GA 30753).
