He was predeceased by: his parents, John Frank and Allene McCollum Bennett; his wife Glenda Kay Greer Bennett; and his siblings, Robert Bennett, Nancy Carolyn Culberson and Frankie Ann Bennett.
He is survived by: his children, Darryl Bennett (Deanna Smith), Paula Bennett and Beth Nixon (Daniel); his stepdaughter Christy Petty (David); and his brothers, Joe Bennett and Johnny Bennett. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
