We are sad to announce that on August 11, 2021, at the age of 78, Joyce Knox of Summerville, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellis Sr. Darden and Celester Geter Darden; her daughter Angela Knox; and her siblings, Sid Darden, Ellis Darden, Jr., Joe Darden, Annie Stewart, Maddie Shropshire and Helen Darden.

She is survived by: her husband Melvin Knox; her son Kevin Young; and her sister Enis Campbell. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 1 great- grandchild; and a host of extended family and friends.
