He is survived by: his wife Margaret Strickland Wade; his brothers, Lester Harbin and Haywood Lewis; his uncle Joe; his aunt Olympia; his sons, John Jeffery Wade and Joseph Wade, Jr. of Summerville, Georgia; his grandsons, Shane Lamar Wade of Greenville, Ashford Price and Javotte Smithof Summerville; and his cousin Laura Nell Jackson Malone of Indianapolis, Indiana. He is also survived by other cousins, relatives, and friends.
