He was predeceased by: his parent John Thomas Ratliff. He is survived by: his parent Mary Josephine Henderson Ratliff; his wife Shirley Watkins Ratliff; his son John Gaines Ratliff; his stepsons, Tracy Thrasher, Sherry Thrasher and Stacy Thrasher; his brother Jeff Ratliff; his siblings-in-law, Elaine Ratliff, Karen Hoeninghausen and Rick Hoeninghausen; and his close friends, Phil Hall and David Cabe. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
