With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Prescott Whaley (Summerville, Georgia), born in Opp, Alabama, who passed away on June 12, 2021 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Andrew Mack and Ruth Bryan Mack; her husband Marvin Whaley; and her daughters, Angela Caceres and Susan Whaley.

She is survived by: her son Steve (Melody Whaley); and her sister Elaine (Phil Lamey). She is also survived by four Grandchildren.
