He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Fowler and Carolyn Mitchell Fowler; and his grandmother Roxie Jane King. He is survived by: his wife Melanie Howard; his children, Micah Fowler, D. J. Fowler (Autumn), Tyrone Adams (Brittany), Jamey Arnold (Danielle), Courtney Long, Sherri Jones (Ray), Latoya Parrett (Jason) and Ashley Adams; and his siblings, Lamar Fowler, Beverly Sumner, Selena Wester (Tim) and Deanna Evett. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
