He was predeceased by: his parents, Jimmy Ray and Virginia Lee Clark Deering; and his daughter Vanessa Deering. He is survived by: his wife Helen Johnson Deering; his sons, Nathaniel Deering (Sharon) and William Austin Johnson; and his siblings, Jeff Deering (Sharon) and Shelia Black (Tim). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Due to the current health concerns for the community, those in attendance are asked to keep in mind the current guidelines and restrictions set forth by the C. D. C. as it pertains to social gatherings including the use of face masks and hand sanitizer.
