It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jerry Rutledge Sr. of Summerville, Georgia, who passed away on June 9, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alonzo Jackson Rutledge, Sr. and Dicie Elizabeth Hopkins; his son Greg Rutledge; his granddaughter Ashley Rutledge; and his great grandchildren, Kendall Rutledge and Shalia Rutledge.
He is survived by: his wife Charlotee Ann Fleming Rutledge; his children, James Rutledge (Jennifer), Donny Rutledge, Jason Rutledge, Jonathan Rutledge and Pam Millican (Lamar); his daughter-in-law Cindy Jaye; and his sister Mary Hughes (Robert). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The Rutledge family, along with the staff of Mason Funeral Home remind anyone in attendance to keep in mind the current guidelines and restrictions for the COVID pandemic set forth by the C. D. C. as it pertains to social gatherings limitations including social distancing, gathering limits, and face masks.
