She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Sharp and Ollie Aaron Sharp; her husband Walter B. Penrod; her son James Ramey; and her sisters, Imogene Sharp and JoAnn Adams.
She is survived by: her son John; her daughter-in-law Casey Ramey; her children, Tammy Jackson (David Patterson) and Mickey Barnette (Christie Johnson Camp); her stepdaughter Angie Penrod; her sisters, Lillie (Billy Dale), Doris Smith (Helen Conway) and Josie Ramey; her grandchildren, Brianna Ramey, Kensey Alexander, Howard Jeffries, Jr. and Seth Langley; and her great grandchildren, Kaniyha Taylor and Sekani Taylor. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
The family of Mrs. Penrod, as well as the staff of Coffman Funeral Home, advise anyone that plans to attend the services for Mrs. Penrod, to please follow the CDC recommendations as it pertains to Social distancing and social gatherings.
