It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Ivan Bennett Sr. (Summerville, Georgia), who passed away on January 3, 2021, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James C. Bennett and Nelda Mae Williams Bennett; his wife Jan Bennett; and his children, James I. Bennett, Jr., Blake Elsberry (Lauren), Mark Elsberry (Mallory Crump), Sarah Dawson (John), Rebecca Guinn (Josh Dillard) and Erin Jackson (Adam). He was also cherished by Two Sisters; 15 Grandchildren; several Nieces and Nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to the Sonrise Community Church Building Fund or to Gideons International in Mr. Bennett's memory.
