He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Lee and Susie Reece Boyd; his wife Carol Ann Price Boyd; his siblings, Clifford Boyd, Johnny Boyd and Bobbie Wilson; and his grandson Joey Myers.
He is survived by: his sons, Junior (Margie Boyd), Marty (Lisa Boyd), Rickey (Amy Boyd) and Chuck (Stacey Boyd). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
