We are sad to announce that on January 5, 2022, at the age of 85, Jack Ross Herring (Summerville, Georgia), born in Boyce, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Esther Hillman Herring Fredricks and Stephen A. Herring; and his brother Maxie Herring of Alexandria, Louisiana.. He is survived by: his daughter Heather Herring Casey; his son-in-law Nicolas Casey; his granddaughters, Caroline Grace Jackson, Colbi Marie Jackson and Olivia Nicole Casey; and his family, Maureen Herring and Sheryl Herring Lambert (family: Karen Herring, Candace Herring Blount).
In lieu of flowers, the Jack Herring Memorial Scholarship Fund has been created in honor of his passion for education and the students he has impacted in the past and to allow his legacy to continue to impact students of Chattooga County in the future.
