It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Hix (Summerville, Georgia), born in Trion, Georgia, who passed away on July 27, 2019, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Freeman Lamar and Winnie Price Hix; and his siblings, Phil Hix, Steed Evans, Freida Parker and Katherine Humphreys.
He is survived by: his daughter Sonia; his son-in-law Jeremy Adams; and his grandchildren, Connor Carvalho, Tristan Adams and Riley Adams.
