It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gaston Cannon Jr. of Summerville, Georgia, born in Jakin, Georgia, who passed away on September 18, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gaston Cannon, Sr. and Mary Ethel McKeller Cannon. He is survived by: his wife Jewel Deane Cannon; his children, Gaston Cannon, III (Teresa), Jacqueline Black and Vickie Hammett; and his sister Geri Chambers. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.
