It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Evelyn Jones of Summerville, Georgia, born in Tifton, Georgia, who passed away at the age of 99, on December 15, 2021. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Hendrix and Addie Mae Scoggins Hendrix; her husband Millard C. Jones; her grandson Roddy Jones; and her siblings, Henrietta Owenby, Wilson Hendrix, Dorothy Elsberry, Lee Owens, Willard Hendrix and Bobby Hendrix.
She is survived by: her sons, Rodney (Jeannette Jones), Roland (Ava Jones), Randy (Yvonne Jones) and Ricky (Terri Jones). She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Due to the current health concerns for the community, those in attendance are asked to keep in mind the current guidelines and restrictions set forth by the C. D. C. as it pertains to social gatherings including the use of face masks and hand sanitizer.
The family respectfully requests that in lieu of flowers and/or food that memorial donations be made to Bethel United Methodist Church of Gore in honor of Mrs. Jones.
