With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ernest Douglas Ragland of Summerville, Georgia, born in Lyerly, Georgia, who passed away on December 6, 2023 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Howard Ragland and Vonnie Ruth Abernathy Ragland; his brothers, Dennis Ragland and William "Poot" Ragland; and his sister-in-law Rita Fay Campbell.
He is survived by: his children, Randy Ragland (Rachel), Ginger McCarty (Guy) and Kelli Broome; and his sister Patricia Rich (Jack). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren.
