It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emma Burse (Summerville, Georgia), who passed away on January 3, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Vaughn Thompson and Annie Lou Thompson; her son James Burse; and her siblings, Hattie Mostiller and Joe Thompson.
She is survived by: her husband Joe Henry Burse; her daughters, Rebecca Burse and Gloria Brooks (George); her siblings, James Robert Thompson (Valerie) and Ivy Nell Haynes; her grandchildren, Constance Natobee Daniel, Greonna Brooks and Gratia Brooks; and her great grandchildren, Myles Daniel and Neriah Daniel. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and cherished friends.
