He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Stroup and Myrtice Carnes Stroup; and his brother Gary Wayne Stroup. He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Lynn Tucker Robinson; his sons, Charlie Joe Stroup (Aubrey), John Nicholas Robinson (Sierra) and Ethan Tyler Robinson (Chelsey); and his grandchildren, Rory Stroup, Maura Stroup, Aiden Robinson and Lincoln Robinson.
