He was predeceased by: his parents, John Herbert and Mattie Lee Alexander Chandler; his wives, Doris Posey Chandler and Winnie Lee Ledford Chandler; and his siblings, Leland Chandler, Beth Chandler Hall and Bruce Chandler.
He is survived by: his children, Laura (Sally), Jeff Gamble of Armuchee, Susan, Randy Thompson of Canton, Gary and Kathy Floyd of Cartersville; and his grandchildren, Melissa Thompson-Riddle, Meredith Thompson Carter, Jarrod Slaton Floyd, Jamie Kristen Woodward Brown and Anna Elaine Floyd. He is also survived by Ten Great Grandchildren; several Nieces and Nephews.
