She was predeceased by: her parents, William Joseph Gardner and Clara Kate Parker Gardner; her husband Thomas Edward "Tommy" Hutchens; her daughters, Nancy Marie Hutchens and Demple Dixon; her sisters, Regina Kitchens, Missy Hamby and Shelia Hyatt; her daughter Carol Hutchens; her brothers, Kenny Gardner and Joey Gardner; and her pet Rascall.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Eugene "Lil Tommy" Hutchens (Jamie), Michael David Norris (Stephanie), Kathy Renee Thompson (Horace), April Diane Denham (Eddie), Billie Joe Cargle (Terry) and Barbie Lynn Niederhuth (Bruce).
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Coffman Funeral Home (12855 US-27, Summerville, GA 30747). The lying in state was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Little Sand Mountain Baptist Church (3655 S Little Sand Mountain Rd, Armuchee, GA 30105). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
