He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Marion McCary and Henrietta Elizabeth Murphy McCary; his sister Linda Thayer; his niece Kimberly Demaline; and also Serenity Christina Nicole Hampton.
He is survived by: his wife Cathy Wilson McCary; and his sisters, Nancy Jo Edgeworth and Diane Rosson. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren.
