She was predeceased by: her parents, Gus Boyd Everett and Willie Mae Bailey Everett; her husband Fay Herman Owens; her grandsons, Maurice Collette and Frankie Alan Owens; her great grandchild Jordan Reynolds; and her daughter-in-law Johnnie F. Owens.
She is survived by: her children, David Owens (Cheryl McClellan), Gordon Owens, Roger Owens (Deborah), Frankie Owens and Brenda Kell (Denny). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
