He is survived by: his wife Betty Funderburk Shockley; his children, Charles Shockley, II, Malcom Shockley, Savanah Shockley and Tyshara Shockley; and his siblings, William Brown Shockley, Isaac Shockley, Savannah Turner and Eleanora Shockley. He is also survived by 34 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
