He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Shaw and Lois Shaw; his son Eric Shaw; and his brother Tommy Shaw. He is survived by: his wife Helen Ball Shaw; his granddaughter Elizabeth Cochran (Lester) of Dalton; and his great grandchildren, Tamika Snow, Christian Snow (Shea), Maegan Shaw, Jeff Fowler (Morgan) and Mark Bradley (Erica).
