It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Johnson of Summerville, Georgia, who passed away on December 7, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Franklin Johnson, Sr. and Mable Willingham Johnson; and his siblings, Kathryn McWhorter, Joe Johnson and Ronald Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Johnson; his children, Kim Johnson and Charles "Little Willie"; his daughter-in-law Eva Johnson, Jr.; his brother William; his sisters-in-law, Joyce Johnson and Sylvia Johnson; and his close friends, Billy Willingham, Judy Edgeworth and Bily Joe Duham. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
