He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Alvin Hughes and Betty Jo Hughes; and his brother Raymond Hughes. He is survived by: his wife Debra Steed Hughes; his daughters, Christie (Dale Hulsey) and Kelley (Dusty Roberts); and his siblings, Rondall Hughes, Carolyn (Manuel Owens) and Sharon (Nathan Deering). He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.
