He was predeceased by: his siblings, S. C. Bowman, G. B. Bowman, Billy Bowman and Joyce Highfield; his brothers-in-law, Robert Evans and Sambo Highfield; and his parents, Ira Preston and Ethel Coheley Bowman.
He is survived by: his sister Pauline Bowman Evans; and his nephew Sammy Highfield (Terina). He is also survived by nieces & nephews and great nieces & nephews.
