He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Hawkins and Elizabeth Owens Hawkins; his wife Betty Ann Bailey Hawkins; his sons, Tommy Hawkins and Denny Hawkins; and his brothers, J. R., Shorty, Bill, Carlton and Leon Hawkins.
He is survived by: his daughter Donna; his son-in-law Jerry Lathem; his grandsons, Robbie Lathem (Stephanie) and Adam Lathem (Carrie); his great grandchildren, Brody, Jessica, Chandler, Leihlani, Lorin, Madison, Briana, Libby, Hyker and Lizbeth; and his sister Vernice Stoner.
