He is survived by: his wife Jessie Kirby Bankston; his children, Phillip Bankston, Tracy Bankston, Ricky Bankston, Torey Bankston, Dana Bankston, Pamela Bond and Alisha Bankston; and his siblings, Jesse James Bankston, Mactine Bankston and Doris Shephard. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
