With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ann Norton of Summerville, Georgia, born in Trion, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 6, 2024 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Jackson Dye, Sr. and Eunice Baggett Dye; her daughter Jeannie Espy Agnew Griffin; her brothers, Bill Dye and Richard Dye, Jr.; and her stepdaughter Faith Norton Hawkins.
She is survived by: her grandson Clinton H. Agnew, Jr. (Summer); her great grandchild Clinton (H. Agnew, III); her stepchildren, Betty Norton Tyson, Pamela Norton Raines (John) and Kelly Norton, Jr. (Joy); and her close friend Mary Baggett. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations be made to the Lyerly Cemetery Fund.
