She was predeceased by: her father Floyd Waters; her sons, Grayson Tilley and Jamie Tilley; her mother Ann Davies Johnson; and her siblings, Quincy Suellen Shoemaker, Kathy Regina Hodge, Shannon Leigh Cox, Violete Elaine Waters and Charles Floyd Waters.
She is survived by: her husband Dr. Larry Tilley; her children, Jennifer Hayes (Chris), Lauren Howard (Kent), Chris Tilley (Nina) and Katie Derrick (Blake); her grandchildren, Caleb Hayes (Abigail), Aaron Hayes, Anna Kathryn Hayes, Isabelle Howard, Mac Howard, Emma Tilley, Elin Tilley, Sam Tilley, Gracey Derrick and Reid Derrick; her siblings, Tamara Faye Burchete (Keith), Deborah Diane Whaley (Terry), Jeffrey Verllon Waters (Angie), Matthew Cox Jr. (Kerrie), Jimmy Lee Cox (Barentha) and Michel Dean Cox; her close friend Jerri Landrum; and also Lincoln Hayes. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Calhoun First Baptist Church (411 College St, Calhoun, GA 30701). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at the Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery.
