He is survived by: his wife Mary Brock Dooley; his children, Jesse Dooley, Jr. (Michelle), Tammy Buchanan (Mike), Karen McCutcheon (Mike) and Carolyn Broome (James); his siblings, Ray Dooley, Jr. (Hazel), Sharon Angland, Helen Talley and Phyliss Wigley (Londell); his grandchildren, Timothy Buchanan, Jacob Buchanan, Amanda Buchanan Rowell, Alex McCutcheon, Micheala McCutcheon Nieto, Kelli Broome and Jamie Broome Lynn; his great grandchildren, Ben Rowell, Nathan Rowell, Sadie Buchanan, Buck Buchanan, Silas Nieto, Noelle Nieto, Charlie McCutcheon, Aubrey Buchanan and Jameson Grant; and his sons, Rev. Harold Blackstock, Rev. Dwaine Shadix and Tom Dooley.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home (711 College St, Calhoun, GA 30701). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
