He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude J. Martin and Mamie Lee Stewart Martin; and his siblings, Grady Martin, Lacleta Robinson, Geraldine Sailers, Juanita Anderson, Myrtie Lee Garner, Carlton Martin, Seaborn Martin, Alton Martin, Nora Hayes and Millicent McCabe.
He is survived by: his wife Angela Stefanini Martin; his children, Scarlette Johnson (David) of Winston, Roxanna Barry of Suches, Rachel Ayoub (Miguel) of Kennesaw and Shane Martin (Laura) of Douglasville; his sisters, Lanelle Romines and Martha Garrison; his grandchildren, Jessica Todd (James), Jared Johnson (Kelli), Jacob Martin (Jaimie), Stephanie Pardue (Claude), Will Martin (Christina), Kendall Barry, Michael Ayoub and Alexander Ayoub; and his great grandchildren, Jaxon Todd, Caroline Johnson, Maggie Johnson, Ava Johnson, Naomi Pardue, Somer Jane Pardue, William Shane "Liam" Martin II and Claude Pardue III.
