Though Wendell Wade may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Wendell Wade touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wade Whitley and Mary Arlene Harper; and his brother Jeffery Whitley. He is survived by: his children, Laura Bishop and Lamar Whitley; his daughter-in-law Lisa Whitley; his grandchildren, Ashley, Jessica and Logan; his great grandchildren, Jamie, Avery and Madison; and his uncle Randall Collins. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A reception was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Cochran-McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel of Blue Ridge (3911 Appalachian Hwy, Blue Ridge, GA 30513).
